Appeal for witnesses following attempted burglary near Bridport

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following an attempted burglary near Bridport.


At around 4.40am on Thursday 6 June 2024 the occupants of an address in Village Road in Bradpole were woken by someone attempting to gain access to their property.


Police Constable Dan White, of Bridport police, said: “Thankfully, the suspects were disturbed and nothing was stolen during the incident.


“I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area, or may have captured any relevant footage, to please contact Dorset Police.


“In particular, I understand there were two members of the public who spoke to the victim shortly after the incident and I would ask them to please come forward as they may have important information to help our enquiries.”
