Image appeal following indecent exposure in Lyme Regis

Officers investigating an incident of indecent exposure in Lyme Regis are issuing an image of a man they would like to speak to.

It is reported that at around 5.30pm on Monday 26 August 2024, a group of teenage girls noticed a man exposing himself near to the lifeguard hut on the beach.

The man was challenged by lifeguards and subsequently left the area.

Police Constable Jamie Randell, of West Dorset police, said: “This must have been a distressing incident for the girls and our investigation is ongoing as we try to establish the full circumstances of what happened.

“As part of my enquiries, I am now issuing an image of a man I would like to identify and would ask anyone who recognises him to please come forward.”
