This is a message from PCSO 6534 Jane Goodwin- Dorchester Neighbourhood Policing Team.

On Saturday 19th October 2024  between 18:00 and 18:20 two youths were involved in anti social door knocking in the area of Billingsmoor Lane Poundbury.

Described as young males aged approx 13-14 who rode away on bicycles. Clothes described as- one youth in a two tone blue jacket and the other in a cream hoodie.

In previous years I have worked alongside youth workers and schools to identify young people involved in this type of behaviour. It can be very distressing to residents affected, especially those living alone and the elderly. It is also extremely frustrating for those with poor mobility to be fooled into getting up to answer the door! 

Please report any similar issues to the police especially if there is RING doorbell footage/ cctv or camera video evidence and I will progress trying to identify the culprits.
