Local Crime Update - Newtown

Vehicle Crime - Haskells Road
Reference number: 55240193624
Officers investigating criminal damage to a motor vehicle are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The incident occurred between 9.00 p.m. on Friday the 13th of December and 4.00 p.m. on Saturday the 14th of December.  All four tyres on this vehicle were smashed and the windscreen wiper blades were ripped out. 

 

Vehicle Crime - Churchill Road
Reference number: 55240193907
Officers investigating a theft form a motor vehicle are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The incident occurred between 1.04 a.m. and 1.06 a.m. on Tuesday the 17th of December.  The front driver side window of this vehicle was smashed to gain entry.  We do not have details of any items stolen.

 

Theft - Innovation Close
Reference number: 55240193956
Officers investigating an attempted theft of an electric bike from a business unit. are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The incident occurred at 4.00 p.m. on Tuesday the 17th of December.  A teenage male in black clothing cut off the securing lock of this e-bike and ran off when he was disturbed by workers.

 

Business Crime - Herbert Avenue
Reference number: 55240194037
Officers investigating a theft from an electronic road sign are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The incident occurred between 11.00 p.m. on Wednesday the 18th of December and 6.00 a.m. on Thursday the 19th of December.  The batteries were stolen from the back of a Chevron electronic road signal board.
