Appeal for witnesses following assault in Bournemouth


Officers investigating an assault in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

 

Dorset Police received a report at 8.42am on Monday 16 December 2024 of an altercation involving two men who are known to each other in Hill View Road.

 

It is reported that one of the men was hit on the back of the head.

 

There were no serious injuries reported.

 

Police Constable Paul Humber, of Bournemouth police, said: “This incident happened in a busy area during school drop-off time and I understand there were a number of witnesses in the area.

 

“I would ask anyone with information about the incident, or relevant footage captured on a dashcam, to please contact Dorset Police.”
