Dorset Police received a report at around 1am on Saturday 15 February 2025 of a disturbance in St Edmund Street involving a group of people.

An 18-year-old man was reportedly assaulted and sustained a fractured skull. An 19-year-old man also sustained facial injuries but did not require immediate medical treatment.

“We understand there were a number of people in the area at the time and I would like to hear from any witnesses or anyone who has captured relevant footage.”
