The criminal fraternity are once again taking an unlawful interest in UTV's from farms.  We've had reported incidents in the Yetminster, Motcome and Trent areas.  As stock is going out to pasture your probably using your UTV's ( Utility Task Vehicles) increasingly  and they are becoming more ‘visible’ .  

So its an opportune time to review your security with regard to UTV's …….   please consider: 

* have you recorded the make, model and serial numbers? 

* have you marked the vehicle in a ‘hidden’ area with unique numbers etc ( eg Postcode ) and photographed the mark . 

* marking can be done by UV pens, engraving, or forensic marking. 

* do you physically secure your UTV using suitable locks to fixed points - and hide the keys!
