Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward following a fail-to-stop collision in Bournemouth.
Dorset Police received a report at around 1pm on Saturday 13 September 2025 of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in Grosvenor Road.
It is reported that the vehicle failed to stop at the scene and subsequently left the area.
The pedestrian – a woman aged in her 90s – sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment by the ambulance service.
Police Constable Paul Wilson, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “An investigation is underway and we are carrying out enquiries to identify the vehicle and driver that left the scene.
“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and saw what happened to please come forward. Also, I am keen to speak to any motorists who may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.
“I would urge the driver of the vehicle to please do the right thing and come forward so we can take your account of what happened.”
