Illegal and anti-social use of vehicles (off road motorcycles)

Location:
Corelli Estate.

Issue:
Off road bikes are being ridden illegally and anti-socially around the estate causing distress to local residents.

Planned action to tackle this issue:
- Targeted high-visibility patrols at key times (local officers and specialist teams)
- Robust enforcement action where possible including warning notices and vehicle seizures
- Partnership working with Dorset Council and other key agencies

May update:
- Local residents have provided us with some excellent CTCV footage of incidents, which we have reviewed and identified some offenders. The footage will also assist us in prosecuting the offenders for road traffic offences
- We recently seized a motorbike due to being driven recklessly
- Targeted patrols of the Corelli estate will continue

Shoplifting

Location:
Peel Centre, Babylon Hill.

Issue:
There has been an increase in shoplifting to local businesses at the retail park causing harm to staff, customers and the wider community.

Planned action to tackle this issue:
- Targeted high-visibility patrols at key times and locations
- Multi-agency working with Avon & Somerset Police and the local Town-Link scheme
- Dedicated policing operations
